Jackson
In 2000, L.A. Lakers head coach Phil Jackson became the eighth coach in NBA history to reach the NBA Finals with at least two different teams. Alex Hannum is the only coach to take three different teams to the NBA Finals (St. Louis, 1957 and 1958; San Francisco, 1964; and Philadelphia, 1967), and one of two to win championships with two different teams (St. Louis in 1958 and Philadelphia in 1967). The other is Jackson, who has now reached the NBA Finals nine times (six with Chicago and three with the Los Angeles Lakers) as a head coach and has never lost.
